• Order the full film. It arrives by email and in your account; ask for changes if anything is off.

Example: a training manual chapter on replacing a filter

Say chapter 4 of your service training manual has nine numbered steps with drawings: isolate the power, open the side panel, release two clips, slide out the old filter, check the arrow on the new one, slide it in, close the clips, close the panel, reset the service light.

The film shows those nine steps as nine short scenes. The warning to isolate the power appears at step one, where it belongs, not on page two. The arrow on the filter is shown pointing the right way before it goes in. Captions carry the step text, so the film works on a noisy floor without sound. (This is an illustrative example, not a customer's manual.)

Keeping videos in step with the manual

Because each film is made from a specific version of the procedure, updating is simple: when the manual changes, upload the new version and order a film for it. Keep the manual's revision number in the video's file name so trainers always know which one is current.
