In short
An SOP video is only useful if it matches the approved SOP. Tools that rewrite the SOP as a narrated script can summarise, merge or reorder steps. We keep the SOP's own structure: one scene per step, in the same order, with the same checks and warnings.
We make films for physical procedures, where the operator needs to see the part, the tool and the direction. For software SOPs, a screen-recording guide tool is the better fit, and we'll say so.
How an SOP becomes a video

Example: a changeover SOP
A twelve-step changeover SOP with a lock-out step, two torque checks and a sign-off becomes twelve short scenes. The lock-out appears first, with its warning on screen. What an SOP video doesn't replace
The SOP stays the controlled document. The video helps people follow it; it doesn't replace sign-offs, training records or the audit trail. What is an SOP video?+
A short video that shows a standard operating procedure step by step, so people can see how it's done before or while they do it. Ours are animated from the SOP's own steps and drawings.
Can you turn any SOP into a video?+
Any SOP that describes physical steps: assembly, installation, set-up, changeover, cleaning or maintenance. Text-only and software SOPs are a poor fit for our films.
Do you keep mandatory steps and warnings?+
Yes. Every step stays in, in the SOP's order, and warnings appear at the step they belong to. We never drop a warning your SOP contains, and we don't add technical advice that isn't in it.
How do we update the video when the SOP changes?+
Upload the new revision and order a film for it. Keep the revision number in the video's file name.
Is our SOP kept confidential?+
Yes. Each company's files are stored apart and used only for that company's films. We delete them on request. Our security page has the details.
What does an SOP video cost?+
The preview is free. A full film is $119 for a Standard film of up to 60 seconds, delivered within 24 hours, or $169 for an Express film of up to 90 seconds, first in line. Captions are included; voice-over +$12, music +$4, sound effects +$15. Prices exclude VAT. For many SOPs, packs from 5 films for $795 ($159 a film) down to $135 a film at 50 films.
